Receiving Messages |
I stepped out of the hotel in New York last Friday into the most beautiful day! A light cool breeze was blowing, with clear, sunny skies above. I smiled at the doorman, commented on the beautiful day, and asked about getting a cab. He smiled and said “right away.”
As he hailed a cab, I heard a voice behind me. “Yes, you look lovely, and it is a lovely day. Enjoy being in New York.” I turned to see this woman with the distinctly New York accent leaning against the hotel smiling at me. I said, “Thank you so much,” as I stepped into the waiting taxi.
I sat back in the seat and soaked up her message that was such a blessing for me. I felt a glow inside and embraced that moment so I could savor it on and on as I headed for the Group Coaching Workshop at Columbia. Wow! what a feeling! |
